With over 20 years of experience, I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to build a career by doing what I love. I started my own design studio to handle graphic design and desktop production projects for clients in an off-site office.
I can handle high-volume and work long hours to see project through on tight deadlines. I’m a hard worker, a team player and excited to see what projects could benefit from my unique skill set. WORK EXPERIENCE
As a professional in my field, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, some traditional and others outside the box. I know how to take on new challenges and contribute to companies in a way that is smart, meaningful and valuable. Day in and day out, I’m constantly taking on new and interesting projects that help me build my skills. Creative Network Systems Studio Services offered a full-service graphics studio exclusively for American Express. The studio was sent up to handle the creative needs after September 11, 2001.
Set-up a studio to handle large-scale projects, managing a staff of fifteen people.
Assigned and supervised work for a staff of desktop production artists, proofreaders, copywriters, designers and project coordinators, both on-site and virtually.
Managed workflow without missing deadlines or sacrificing quality.
Managed print production estimates, scheduling, and interfaced with vendors
Maintain the American Express Logo Library.
STUDIO MANAGER, AMERICAN EXPRESS
August 1999 – September 2001
Creative Media was the in-house graphics department for American Express (Staffed by Creative Network Systems (“CNS”), New York, NY). The department produced over 5,000 collateral pieces annually. Started at Creative Media as a Desktop Production Artist in August 1999. After 12 months was promoted to Assistant Studio Manager and then promoted again four months later to Studio Manager.
Responsible for day-to-day work on production studio projects. Maintain quality control standards for thousands of projects annually produced.
Review disk release for traditional and digital print production process and technical variables involved in printing.
Provided an exceptional level of customer service by reviewing job specs with American Express Project Coordinators and/or designers to confirm instructions to establish successful intake processes.
Created and maintained Creative Media Procedure Manual which documents proper working procedures, including file maintenance and back-up procedures, for department staff.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
The Foundation for Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School (“MERS”), Manalapan, NJ
I have been a Trustee of The Foundation for MERS since 2014. I share my expertise by serving on the board as the Creative and Marketing Director. My design skills have greatly enhanced The Foundation for MERS’ presence in the district and our community. My creative flair has elevated our brand recognition. My innovative eye is visible on our web site as well as all promotional materials. Event flyers, Foundation newsletters, The Foundation for MERS logo, and Teacher Appreciation certificates are just few of her countless creative contributions. I am particularly proud of the implementation of “Our Grants in Action” videos that are prominently featured on our You Tube channel and other social media outlets.
